Boss GT-Pro?

i just picked up a used Boss GT-Pro. A couple questions... (yes, i did a search)

1.) on sonar launch it says "old usb driver. please use new ones" --- this doesnt seem to effect anything?
2.) ideally, I'd like to use it with Sonar as a USB send/receive device to throw tracks to/from. Its greyed out in Audio Drivers however, just like the Virus TI. Any ideas?

ASIO driver Mose only supports one sound card/interface. When you use the USB on the Boss, your using it as a sound card/interface. So either switch to WDM driver mode and define your ins and outs or just use the Analog outs of the Boss (this is what i do) and don't mess with your sound card settings

The BOSS GT-Pro is a good unit, by the way. Mine has been my primary guitar performance preamp for many years.

My son has a GT-10 and now that we have a shared "studio" we had a go at connecting it via USB to record in Sonar/Reason. As we couldn't monitor its output via the computer we gave up and just used the audio out of the Boss plugged in to my audio interface.

Thanks for all the replies. I didnt realize about the ASIO limitation. This is probably also why my Virus TI doesnt quite work as it should.
What i want to do, in case youre wondering, is use the Boss GT-Pro as an output device to send stuff from inside Sonar to it. Then i'll use the 1/4" outputs to go back into the mixer.

Any ideas on the "old usb drivers, please use new ones" popup and how to get rid of it?
