HELP! Drum Templates, Addictive Drums

Hi guys, First of all, I am relatively new, and would greatly appreciate any help from the community! :). I am following this tutorial from Cakewalk TV here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZiZjQAxjCw Now, I want to apply this to addictive drums, and I am a little stumped how to: 1) set this manually. 2) Do I assign a particular note to parts of the kit? [for example when keeping all of the drum kit in separate channels, how is this achieved? 3) How can I do this for addictive drums? 4) Why doesn't the sonar forums let you put paragraphs so content is easier to read!
