Their ex-guitarist (Howard Leese) is a part owner of a club here in town. Heart memorabilia all over the walls.

Heart without Howard is sorta like The Eagles without Don Felder.. IMO at least. I'll check out the tunage.

i kind of feel the same way about roger fisher.

to my mind, he was 1/3 of the equation.

but, i have "Red Velvet Car", and it's mostly good.
i look forward to this one

Is it me? or does it sound like a cheesy amp sim on the guitar? I loved Heart back in the day of Dream Boat Annie and a few there after. Nancys' Red Strat still makes me yern for the RED 61 I sold when I was young and stupid : actually I refinished it in RED which was one portion of the stupid, but it was beaut none the less.

Yes it's a cheesy amp sim. This song really goes nowhere. These gals are up in the years so you'd think the hot flashes of menopause would give them some fire. But unfortunately not.

I think the guitar sounds horrible on this tune. I thought it was just me. Frankly I wasn't sure if it was guitar or some bad synth sound but the OD/dist sound is really bad, IMO. Did it sound to you like the worst part of the low midrange was way out front on the guitar?

Their best material came from falling in and out of relationships which, I'm sure, doesn't really happen that much now - lol!

Oh well, you can't fault a couple of gals just trying to pay the rent.  It's not like other male acts aren't milking their stuff far beyond it's relevancy...
