Transitioning from Old Home Studio Ver 2 to Sonar X1 Studio

Hi,

I am trying work on old Cakewalk projects with my new setup in X1 Studio.  I can load bundle files but adding
new tracks is a challenge.  I can't "arm" the new track for recording as I can if I'm playing with a demo project
in X1.

Please help!

Thanks,
Steve

To be sure I understand: you are able to load .cwb files of projects created in Home Studio 2, but are unable to create new tracks in those projects? If so, the sample- and bit-rate you have set for new projects in X1 Studio may not match those of the HS 2 projects. Without more specifics, that is the first thought that pops into my head. Check the settings in Edit > Preferences > Audio > Driver Settings.
