Automating synth parameters?

Im trying to automate changes in the LFO speed on massive and I cant figure out how to do it. 
 
I can use write automation to record changes in effects but its not working in the synth.
 
Please help.

    I don't have Massive, but in other NI synths like the B4 manual automation writing doesn't seem to work. There are a few things I still have to try to see the actual limitations so no definitive answer here but for me there is a simple workaround: automation envelopes. Check the documentation to find the CC# that affects the LFO and use an automation envelope. Go to create Track Envelope>Midi. Under "Value" if an option isn't availabe that suits your needs highlight the value and type in the CC# and OK it.
