Can I install Producer Expanded after the X1d patch?

Can I install Producer Expanded after the X1d patch?

I've searched the support knowledgebase, but I can't find the information I'm looking for. I know that Producer Expanded requires the X1c patch to install. But, I already have Producer installed and patched to X1d, and I've just purchased Expanded. Does anyone know if I can install Expanded over X1d, and then install the X1d patch for expanded? Or do I have to uninstall everything, reinstall and patch only to X1c before installing Expanded?
