No piano keys in Piano Roll View.

I've just started using Cacewalk Sonar X1. The first time i opened the Piano Roll View to edit a midi part I recorded there were no piano keys to the left where I expected to find them. Instead there are short horizontal lines and the letter C 0, C 1 etc. Can anyone please tell me how to turn this into the piano keyboard I want in the Piano Rool View?

Right click on the pane where the keys should be and then if the use assigned Instrument settings isn't selected select it.

If it is already set change it to "Use these note names instead" and select Diatonic from the drop down.

The problem was that I somehow managed to minimise the view, thus making the keys impossible to see. Thanks for the information though. Good to know. Changing daws is no cakewalk.
