Avid Artist controler query

Greetings!  I was wondering if anyone with one of these controllers could answer my question.  I recently picked up an avid artist control and mix and everything seems to be working great in SONAR X1 except for the fader layout save feature in Eucontrol.  While running SONAR I can assign tracks to the faders as I please, however when I exit SONAR the layouts on the faders are lost.   In PT10 the fader layouts are saved and loaded in the Eucontrol software ready to go for the next time.
 
Just curious if this was the case for everyone else as well.
 
I am running:
Win 7 64x
Sonar X1d x86 and x64
Eucontrol drivers 2.6.2 and latest firmware
