Can I get drum names in the Event List?

instead of note names, i.e,   'Hat' instead of 'G#'?   I thought I used to do this, but can't seem to tonight...

If the track is assigned to a drum map or to a synth with defined names then they should show in the Event List. For example, if you're using the TTS-1 then set the track output to TTS-1, any channel, choose Bank=Preset Rhythm, Patch=Standard Kit. Now events will show as names like Kick and Snare. You can also assign to a drum map if the instrument itself is not defined.

I'm sorry, I should have posted that I was using a drum map, with Superior 2.3, and not getting the names as I (and you) think I should.  The names show up everywhere else you'd expect them, in PRV, Step Seq, etc.  It was late and I was tired.  But I swear it used to work i event list just by using a drum map.  Maybe I'll see if there's an instrument patch I can refer to for S2.  Not a show stopper here, but a minor pain though....

some things have em for the PRV or did , errm pretty sure the 808 etc kit had it when you picked TTS , but IRC it's an instrument defination, not a drum map in those cases.

with maps I'd say , make em .. save em , then make a track template IF it's something that follows a standard e..g. XG , GS or the i-map format of doing drums
