How do you copy automaton Envelopes from clip to clip w/in the same track.

I looked it up in help menu and I followed the directions but could not get the envelope to copy from one clip to another clip in the same track. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place or maybe I forgot to prep something. I'm using a simple instrument track in zeta 2. pointers... Thanks to any help recieved.

I think you'll find the problem is bugs copy/pasting within SITs. Try splitting it and then copy/pasting.

With respect.., split what? These are two separate clips. Split the copy of the automation envelope? Split the clips to separate tracks?  Thanks I'll check bugs copy/pasting within simple instrument tracks. By the way watched all your videos there great...thanks.

Split the SIT (Simple instrument track) into it's MIDI and audio components and then try to copy & paste the automation. Glad you like the videos. IIRC it's a right clickk on the track to split it.

Wierd, I've been having noticing this problem too..

I had a soft synth, that I automated an envelope ..
and when Copying/Pasting the clip, along with it's automation data,
volume automation would pass, but not the Env Decay ...

but more than that, by copying/pasting only the automation data, it would paste it to an orphean parameter, with no choice to reassign it to its default parameter (parameter is not there... )... how unpleasant is that ..
