Sonar X1 to OMF to Pro Tools - peak problem

Hi,

I have some projects that I made in Sonar X1 and exported to OMF (removing all automation, all plug-ins, bringing all panning to 0 before exporting.

At home, if I reimport that prpject from OMF to Pro Tools, all waves are ok.

In another studio using Pro Tools, when we import that same OMF, we get tracks peaking (clipping - the wav appears visually extreme!).

Ok I will also ask in Pro Tools forums, but since many of you also do this process, I wonder if there's a setting I would need to do in Sonar prior to export ?  Or anyone could explain what the problem could be ???...

Oh... and if I bring the copy in Pro Tools format I made at home (from the OMF import as well) it is OK at the other studio !!...

Thanks,
Rob

Its most likely the export properties of the pro tools that is converting the tracks and making them clip

The peaks should be the same in any hosts. Its all digital and not subject to variation.

I would look long and hard at the version that is not showing then accurately.
