Rapture is really starting to bust my balls...I inserted using simple inst track and get a blank gui...so I uninstalled (including deleting the registry folder) and reinstalled and get the same thing...any suggestions?

Did you try it using a MIDI and Softsynth track instead of the Simple Instrument track? I just tried it with a simple instrument track and it worked fine, but some people have had problems with them. Did you try the microhost version of Rapture? When you installed it did you use Run as Administrator? Just thinking of ways to debug this.

I was just about to post that the microhost (if that's the same as the stand-alone) looks fine...I'll try your other suggestions now...thanks Dave!

Are you sure you're picking the correct version of Rapture from your plugin menu? I've seen this when there was a reference to Rapture LE in the menu but was referring to an uninstalled synth (bug?)

Hi.. Might I ask what version of Rapture? You have to follow the wackiest install procedure. That is definitely a bug.. I think version 1.2.3 should require no other previous versions installed, to run the install! 32 bit? 64 bit? and version number please... also, the order of your re-installs.. 1.0? 1.1? and then 1.2? 1.2.1.. 1.2.2 did you do it like that? The only way, I know my version is actually the 64 bit one, is Sonar opening it up, without activating bitbridge... Everything needs to be in your x86 program files, and you have to click that 1.2.2 installer a couple of times, so it finds the program...
too many lasers... Sonar = audio editing ninja of a music software!

It's odd. On my back up rig which is used for absolutely everything, I installed 1.2 right over whatever else was there, which was just LE although they are completely separate installations. What's 1.1? I am only running 32 bit on this machine. Now, on my main rig, I've had one or 2 problems with the 64 bit version of rapture, already posted on here with possible solutions, which I haven't got around to trying out yet (don't ask - the joys of being a new grandparent )
