naming envelopes

I'm pretty sure this can't be done and nothing about it in the help section but for god sake why can't it be done?? How hard would it be to code this as a feature?

I know on many effects parameters they are listed but I want to name NRPN parameters.
I have 512 of them in BFD2 and would so love to be able to right click an envelope and name it 
instead of it being called, "peram 091" or whatever.
Think I have asked for this as a feature request before.

    It's not so much naming them that causes frustration, it's the inability to hover over a ghosted env. and SEE what it's called

    Hovering over the envelope seems to work ok for me it's just that I'm likely to forget what
    BFD2 parameter 091 actually does but if I could name it "filter mod release" or whatever that would be wonderful.
