New Graphics card - suggestions?

Looking for a new graphics card for my studio machine as I think my current one is causing some issues. Any suggestions on things that have worked well for you with Sonar? I don't game with this machine (obviously) so it doesn't need to be killer. Just stable, decent, and a good deal. :-) Peace, Tunes

    My advice would be one of the Nvidia 6xxx series. They're new out and any of the mid, or even some of the lower end cards should do fine. MSI are a good make usualy. However, for an audio machine, you also might want to find one which has a passive heatsink instead of a fan.

    Passive heat sink card works fine for me. Also, depends how many monitor screen you are running. 

    Do read the spec carefully if you are running multi monitors, as some lower end (passive heat sink) cards only support 2 monitors, out of 3 output they may have. 

    My system ended up with a mix of 2 cards, Nvidia 210 and Radeon 5450, both fan less - due to bad planning to support 3 monitors. 

    So, either Nvidia or Radeon or both (not recommended) - they work well.
