Audio Snap Question

In this Cakewalk Video about using Audio Snap for drum replacement at 1 minute 50 seconds he clicks on the "Show/Hide selected (clips) transients" button, but my Audio Snap has every other control as the one in the video EXCEPT that one. What am I missing? I'm on X1d Enh.

That's because the demo was Sonar 8.5 not Sonar X1. Here's how to do it in X1:

Select the Smart tool in the control bar (the Star)
In the audio track, click on the Edit Filter pulldown (its under the track title, i.e., "Audio" or whatever you renamed it to). Its normally set to Clips...change it to Audio Transients and voila!... you'll see the transients.
Now you can follow the rest of the tutorial.

(I don't really use AudioSnap so I had to figure it out. )

Ah, I didn't pay attention to the version of Sonar. Great Thanks for the help!

Cool. Kinda easy. I beatboxed my drums into a mic and then converted it to a bass and snare on 2 tracks running through 60's Drums in Kontakt 4. Add in just a little bit of the original vocal track through Pro Channel compressor, mix it in jusssst right, and it sounds big and thick!
