open templet on startup

There is an option to create a template, save it as the normal template & check open this template on start up. This isn't working for me. Do others use it? Thanks.

    I dont use open at start up but I select the one for the particular project I am doing. However, I will check this one and see what happens

    Intel core i7 2600 3.4 GHz 64 Bit 
    16 GB  of Memory, Sonar Platinum ,OS  Windows 10 Professional, Sound Card: Komplete Audio 6, Controller: M-Audio Keystation Pro 88

    I can find a workaround...I'm new to Sonar so am having lots of small glitches, many of which may just be my lack of experience.

    When you click on File-New, you have the option to select a template. Normal is the default.
