aux send routed to digital no longer working?

I just noticed that Aux send routing in X1 isnt the same as it was in 8.5
 
In 8.5 i could route any Aux send out to any analog/digital output. This is handy for me to route audio tracks through external effects processors either digitally or analog.
This seems to have changed in X1. I can directly route the tracks themselves through any external soundcard port that i want to, but not the Aux send.
 
can anyone confirm this or know of a workaround?

    [SOLVED]
    Deleting the send and then adding it again made it work instantly. Funny lil bug.

    So this must be a leftover issue with previously assigned Aux Sends in former versions. In my normal.tpl (which i have used over and over from 8.5) these must be mistakes somehow.
