Hi, I'll ask Tireisias!   I tend to think that "making a decision" as to the left or right, is a lot less important than how you go about it ... if you go into it with the proverbial bible and second guess each and every step, you're not going to like whichever direction you took! So, at that point, it won't matter if you consult the Oracle of Hell, or the Oracle of Thebes or your mom! I like stuff like that ... it just shows you how much folks can not make up their minds about anything and how the social mold has you questioning so hard that you have no idea if you can even make the proper/correct decision for you. In the end, it's not about that "decision" ... it's about how you relate to the experience or learn from it, and become a better musician through it. No guts no glory, btw ... so err'ing is never an issue except when posting in the CH board, when Bapu will bapu your head for escalating the post count!
