Two Midi Notes Recorded, One Key Pressed

Midi track is record enabled.  On record, I press a key on my Roland keyboard once, and two notes are displayed on the piano roll.  One is of very short duration, 1/32 note, and the other is correct.  They both start at the exact same time.  Once I remove the incorrect note, the volume returns to normal as two midi notes increase the volume.

Even if there was a way to delete these notes in one shot afterward, I wouldn't mind so much.  Having to do it one by one is quite tedious.

Try turning off "local" on your keyboard.

Not sure what is causing the problem, might be a dodgy cable or even keyboard. I don't think local will help as that should only really stop the local sound from playing, similar to an internal input echo button.

However, in the interim there's no need to do them all one by one. as long as they are all 1/32 and you don't have many 1/32 notes you want to keep.........

Select the clip and then use Edit--->Select by filter from the main menu. You can set the duration options to only pick up the short notes and any other options that you want or may help narrow it down a bit.

Once finished click okay and then delete the resulting selection.

what is really strange is the fact that one note, the correct on, is of the desired duration, and then the other, possibly echoed note, is 1/32nd. I've experienced echoed/duplicate notes before, but I have never seen that kind of thing ever since using Deluxe Music Construction Set on my Amiga 500...
