Rapture Upgade
Just got the Rapture upgrade from LE at the Cake store for $17.99 It's on sale for $19.99 and you get an additional 10% off with code INDEPENDENCE If I had more money...I'd be getting everything I could while it was on sale... Get 'em while there hot!

Is the full version Rapture any good? I've never really got into the LE version but might be tempted with some recommendations.

Daryl, Rapture is very good. Same look as DimPro but more of a synth than sampler. And the samples are a different category. Lots of keyboards, lots of synth basses, and weird sound designs (aka Dimensions in dimension) go elsewhere. There seems to be more third party stuff for it, the creme de la creme being MuseuM - about a thousand programs/ samples of old synths. It is free. For $19 you ought to visit the whipping post if you skip it. Or just bang your head into the wall. @

And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

No brainer if you ask me. What do you mean you didn't ask me? You should. And I'd say 'buy it'.

but I'm not sure I'd ever use it... if I don't use it then that's $19 I could have spent on something else I would use....

Reece, you could use Rapture on all that techno and hip hop you do. ;-)

Beagle but I'm not sure I'd ever use it... if I don't use it then that's $19 I could have spent on something else I would use.... yeah - that's my issue. Not sure if I would ever use it. I tend to lean towards more 'organic' sounds and I have Z3TA2 for the synthy stuff.

Ok...I'm a guitarist...and I really didn't want to spend the $17.99 either...BUT That's $31 off the upgrade price...which is over 60 percent... I don't think I'll get it for a better price.... And I have just found myself digging into the synth sounds of LE.....so felt it was time....I have a TON other synths....Absynth being the cream of the crop... I just got the SampleMoog deal....and I already had the Arturia MiniMoog freebie they just gave away... You just really never know when that piece of music you're working on is gonna need a "sound" and when you start digging for it....it's good to have options IMHO... That's just me....

Plus, they said the full version wouldn't be available in Sonar...... and I like to take companies at their word because they never go back on them......ever.
