No Audio!

I'm a long time cubase user but just purchased x1.

So after installation everything was working fine, I still have music creator 6 and it was working too.

Then sonar stopped working and now MC6 also.

I was having some problems with my interface komplete audio 6:

The computer thought it was disconnected and I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work.

Sonar had a dialog and said the audio dropped out and did I want it find another driver.

Now I have sound for everything except x1 and mc6.

In preferences it shows the inputs from the KA6 and they are checked.

I haven't found a place where I can choose what driver to use the cubase does.

Any help appreciated.

Win764 dual core dell box.

The KA6 on rare occasions does disconnect.. it should not be on a USB port that has selective suspend enabled.. ie..it needs USB power all the time.

There is a version 3 driver available from NI..not sure what it is supposed to fix if anything..

I suggest in control panel to make the KA6 the default audio device..and work from there.. you can also pull up the KA6 control panel which will show settings.

    in preferences>audio>driver settings
playback timing master = KA6 main out
    record timing master = KA6 1/2 or 3/4
    set sample rate to 44.1khz
when you hit "asio panel" the KA6 control panel comes up.. i run fine with 192 samples and 1mS USB buffer

It was setup right, but I didn't have the media preview set to the right bus so I didn't hear anything and the thought the audio was dead. I can preview media and put it in the project and play it. It was confusing because I was creating an instance for a midi source but could never get any sound until I created a simple instrument track. What's midi source for? Thanks for the help!
