Playback routing to HDSPe AIO analog 1/2

This regards an HDSPe AIO card with the 3.29 driver. I can't get audio to route from SONAR  to the AN 1/2 channels of the HDSP mixer. The meter in SONAR is alive on playback, but the HDSP meter for playback on AN 1/2 shows zip, and there is nothing audible on the AN 1/2 output channels. Routing through any other playback channel works fine, and I get playback through AN 1/2 in other projects
and other  applications. Any ideas?
