Here is a song written by a friend's friend.  I created a mix for her.  All comments welcome.  It is called Numb.

You have a winner here.  The song is well arranged, and leaves me wanting more.  I like the singer's voice, and the lyrics are plaintive.  The instrumentation was simple but supportive.  I look forward to hearing more from you.

    All the best,

Well written, vocals are solid, could use some reverb on various elements of this mix though.

    Awesome treasure and production!

I so love your femme vox ... albeit her accent and enunciation sometimes loses me ... that I can't understand her words very well.  Thats fine though.  She sounds beautiful.  (Else, there may be a way to increase her clarity in the 2 kHz region or something)

I totally love this: the magical and dreamy places you've taken me to here.

Hey Sunny, like this but the mix is doing the track no favours.

Philip has hit the nail on the head in regards to the vocals, def cut some at the 2khz mark.

On the master try cutting (if you haven't already) all frequency's under 40hz, there is just way to much bottom end.  Also to help clear some of the mud, cut at 400hz.  Also be careful in mastering with the hi's.

Finally the cello, seems to have the same problem as the vocals, there is a couple of piercing frequencies at the start, which will stop the listener listening.

    Peace Ben

Thank you!  That is great feedback!  I'll take a look.  Now I did cut everything below 45Hz so I am surprised that you are hearing anything?  Is it possible for that to happen?
