Merge MIDI Soft Synth templates (Kontakt and others) ?

  I'm creating some large MIDI templates, but don't always want all items in the template.   Is there an easy way to merge templates?   For example: Template 1 = Orchestrial Strings + Brass + Winds Template 2 = Choirs Template 3 = orch percussion Template 4 = various synths Template 5 = various electronic percussion Template 6 = Etc.   Then be able to pick and chose as want depending on the track to combine say Templates 1 + 3 + 5. Only way I can see to do this is to create a huge template and delete the unneeded tracks, but would prefer to do as modules like described above. Thanks for any thoughts you may have!!!

    I see no problem with having (say for example) 5 templates. Sometimes you may load from templates 1, 3 & 5. Other times you load from templates 2, 4 and 5 etc. It's all in your planning IMO.

    With X1, you can drag any template (i.e. a saved .cwp) into any project from X1's Browser. Again if you're organized and understand your templates and X1's behavior it should be a "piece of Cake" (a pun intended).

    Also, if you are saving track templates, you can drag them in from the browser too, IIRC.

    Very Cool! Didn't realize you could do that, but it's exactly what I'm looking for. I'll give this a try. Thanks!
