Grid Off Axis - Sonar 8.5

Hello everybody, I'm working on a project-file of sonar that seems to become bad.
I realized today that all the audio-clips of the project are off the grid axis, and seems to be impossible slip them to there. Also, all the splits and edits that I try happens in this way (slipped off the grid).

I posted one video on youtube to show what is happening:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0c1m4mvI-eQ

I also try to create a new project and copy/paste the tracks to the new project, but it doesn't works, the clips remained in the same place (out of the grid).

If someone can help me, I'll be grateful.

Thanks!

So you want the beginning of the green clip to start at the 4th beat of measure 6? Don't turn the snap to grid off. Set it to 1/4 note and click and drag the clip to that beat. Make sure the snap to grid mode is set to Move to and not move by. Turn magnetic strength to off.

Also, you have several clips on the track. You want to move just the first clip but none of the others?

Another thing you can do is right click the clip and select Clip Properties. Change the start time to 6:04:000. Click OK to close the properties window and your clip will be where you want it.

I tried the "Clip Properties > Start", but the value already was correct.
    Maybe it's only a draw problem, I don't know.

That's pretty strange. You seem to have some kind of offset going that I've never seen before, and can't duplicate in my Sonar.

I also have this happen. Don't have any solutions either.

This happened to me once, but it was a few years ago and my memory of it is a bit hazy.  I seem to remember eventually discovering that the the clip was slightly longer than a whole number of measures and that the end of the clip rather than the start of it was snapping to the grid.  I'm not sure about this, but maybe it's worth checking.

But that wouldn't affect the timing offset when splitting clips like the OP has a problem with.
