The message in this song is very touching and heartfelt.  Great dynamics and performances all around.  The lead vocal, in particular, is amazing.  It's good to hear from you again, and I wish you much success with your CD.

    All the best,

Nice tune.  I would have like to see the lyrics in print.  Nice beat, nice clean mix.  I like the chages.   Daryl

I love this!  My fav of yours.

This is awesome, heartfelt and excellent ... a song about love's flashbacks and great love's recurring astonishments.  (It pleased the Lord to take 2 of my sons ... they haunt my memory exceedingly! ... Sooner or later, I'll reach them ... to be at rest with them.  Until then, my heart rampages for them also.)

This is what singing is all about for me!!!!  Total immersion here!
Performances are thundering here, spot-on great for me (if that makes sense)

    10+++/10!!!!!

So sorry for the loss of your little brother. That must be tough on you. Your song is a great tribute to him.

    Comments:

    Super job on this!
The sprinkled guitars in the intro got me hooked right away.
Drums sound nice and heavy but crystal clear.
Vocals are just perfect. Nice echoed lyrics in those spots. Gave a nice effect.
The sprikled guitars in all of the breaks give it nice texture and dimension.
What else can I say? It's fantastic!

Darn Chuck, you got some pretty insane props there from some of the people I personally hold in the highest regard. Great song brother. I know this song was a hard time for you, again my condolences...but sometimes song writing during bad times can really make for something special and that definitely happened here.

This really is a great album from start to finish that doesn't have a bad song on it. Very modern sounding yet with a hint of "something familiar".

Ah you're welcome man...it was my pleasure to help you out with this. I not only got a chance to help you and work with you on this, but I made a great friend in the process....win win win for me brother. All the best to you and the band with the CD.

By the way, one of your boys called me a few weeks back to thank me for everything. Not sure I told ya about it...he was totally cool. It was funny I said "yeah, I know you probably didn't believe in me at first and...." and he stops me and says...."no dude, that wasn't me...I was totally with you from day one!" Hahahahaha! I plugged for ya on my site too a few months ago....I hope it brings you success...well deserved and a fine piece of work man. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of it. :)

Excellent song Chuck.  I am sorry for your loss.  Your song is a good tribute.  The music reflects both anguish and a wee bit of anger --- which I think we all feel with the loss of someone close to us.  Your vocals are stellar and really carry the emotion of the lyrics.
    Nice work.

HOLEEEEY CRAAAAP! Thank you all for the reviews! It's flattering considering who they are coming from and how good you all are in your own right. It means a lot to me. The song has a lot of feel for me obviously, the odd thing is that it goes over so well at the shows that it's hard not to feed off the crowd and end up smiling sometimes while performing it live. I am the oldest of 5 boys and my brother (Chris, #3 of the 5 of us)was the one that was always at my shows, cheering me on. I am sure he would have loved this song too.

extremely poignant and honestly touching.  really one of the better recordings i have heard in a while.  well balanced mix w/ really nice guitar tones. love your voice it kinda reminds me of a melodic and graceful version of Sully Ema (Godsmack).  A+
