SD3 Next steps

Posted my SD3 question last night and got quick and on-target information from Beepster/LinearPhase and chuckebaby.  Thanks guys.
Here's my issue now....
I do country ballads and need "stick" patterns.  Can't find any patterms with stick in SD3.  Am I missing something? (SD1 had tons of them.) The SD3 set up I did last night has kick, snare, 3 cymbals and 2 toms but no "stick" pad/voice.  How can I add a "stick" to my SD3 set up?  Has anyone figured out how to get SD1 patterns into SD3?  Are there other kick/stick patterns that came with X1 Producer?  What about 3rd party kick and stick patterns?

Never mind!!!  I right-clicked on the snare and changed it to the stick sound and I'm good.

Hiya, Larry. Glad it's working for you. Click your SD3 GUI and click F1 to bring up the SD3 manual. Lots of good stuff in there too and it's a pretty quick read. Have fun.

larry you might explore a typical snare roll rythem and just insert a stick hit for a snare.

change up the instruments,do some replacing.
also check your content in the browser its faster

What I mean is insert session drummer three open your browser and the drop-down menu select audition and then select session drummer.
From there for the session drummer three content in the browser.
It's much faster to do it this way because rather than clicking and auditioning in the session drummer interface you can basically use the up and down arrows to surf through the different patterns.

Like I said it might be worth exploring a pattern that's a snare roll or snare rhythm in just insert a stick hit in place of a snare drum.

Let us know if you need any more help.
