Using Loops
Hi
I have some third party accoustic guitar loops that are set to 147BPM strange BPM but they sound great.
I have some thrid party drum loops that are 104BPM also sound great..
When I add the drum loops to the guiatr loops in X1 the drums are going so fast it is crazy.
I just cant get it right. Why oh why
I set the timing before I put the loops into the mix..As you can gusess I am new at this so any help would be appreciated..

Right-click the loops and select groove-clip looping if you haven't already done so. This should align them to the tempo (among other things).

there is an option to import to current tempo which is your issue, it's in the browser an option to change it IRC
what sort of loops, RX2 's ?
you can use other things to manipulate em as well , such as RXP

Hi
Thanks for the information....Fog I ado have rex2 files and wav which are the ones I used.
As I mentioned the drum loop was 104bpm and the guitar loops are 147bpm and it sure sounds strange when the drums are going...
RXP? what is that? I must admit I am a little new to this but I am learning more eveery day.

it's an instrument, you can find it also in the browser if you select the instruments tab.
yep it's a steep learning curve, but there are plenty of sources of help , youtube video, book, and other video

Speaking of tutorials, checkout this link:

Jorel, once you set the tempo of your project (104 BPM or 147 BPM), just follow the instructions that Fog mentioned above....(when you have the Browser opened).
