Yamaha SW1000XG Card Instrument Defination Map for Sonar Producer

Hi Folks! I am new to all this and in need of a lot of help. First of all Instrument Def Map. Is there one available a and if there is how do I install it in Sonar & how do I Access it?
I love the sounds in that card and I would love to use it in Sonar 8.5. At the moment I do all my work in Sonar and finish it in XGWorks. I am limited in my over all knowledge but I am willing to learn............Gerry.

Is the SW1k listed and ticked under your midi options? Or "Options/Midi Devices"
If it not showing you might have a driver problem.
You haven't said what os you're using but it wont work under windows 7 64bit which is one of the reasons I installed a 32bit dual boot.

If it is showing you can just go to, "options/instruments. On tyhe left you will see all your midi channels. Just go through them all individually and as you highlight each one click,
"Yamaha XG" which is in the right window. You can choose channel 10 for XG drum Kits but you don't have to and you can have drums on which ever channle you prefer and as many of them.

    Hope this helps
