New to Sonar - How do you find your third party plug ins?

I just bought Sonar. As a part of the startup process, I directed it to the folders that contained all of my third party virtual instruments (i.e., Omnisphere, Hollywood Strings, etc.). It seemed to find them fine, and when I later booted Sonar it took forever to load as it appeared to be loading all of those programs. However when I create a soft synth track, these programs are not in the list to select from, only the Cakewalk instruments show up. I know its probably something really obvious that I am going to be embarrassed over when you tell me, but could someone tell me how to do this? R

They are there to load several ways. One would be:

    1) Open the Browser (B)
    2) Click the synth tab
    3) Click the + sign for a popout menu for Insert Synth
If you don't see your synths listed, click on Plugin Layouts and then Default All Plugins. All synths should show-up now.

You will at sometime in the near future want to customize your own plugin layout(s)
