SONAR 8.5 - MIDI records out of time - PLEASE HELP!

Hi, I am having trouble during the recording and playback of MIDI tracks. When I record a MIDI track, it plays back with a different feel than that I recorded, not putting the notes where I played them...slightly rushed or dragged. I've had nothing but success with MIDI recording since the beginning of Cakewalk, but this issue is driving me nuts! I've tried recording both VST and conventional MIDI instruments with the same results...even a MIDI recording of a simple 4 quarter note drum machine plays back out of time. I'm wondering if some setting has been inadvertently changed. I've tried to give as much information as I can about my system and SONAR settings below. Please help! Thank you for your time! I have this same problem as well. Pasting a drum midi loop and recording guitar to it results in my audio file (even though I am playing right along with a simple tick tick tick) saves my audio just slightly faster or ahead of the midi. Ive never been able to rectify it or fix it. I just move the audio 0.50 ahead every time that I record another guitar piece.

That latency is way high. Change the number of samples to 256 or 128 in the ASIO driver. Your latency should be more like 5.8ms, not 12.2ms. Make sure you're using the drivers from MOTU and not ASIO4ALL. Disable any sound devices besides the 828.

When I record I never have to adjust the track timing. Its always exactly as I play it.
