Sonar x1 crassh

Well,
I went from WinXP to Win 7 64bit with Sonar 7 Producer Edition.
Windows 7 64bit
Intel i3 @ 3.30GHz
500GB HD
8GB Ram

It crashed every 30 or so minutes..........OK......
Not supported.....Got it....

I am not a PC whiz, but when I ran my Sonar 7 Producer ED on my old Windows XP? I never had any trouble. It never crashed once and I was very happy.
So, in defeat of non supportable platform, I purchased Sonar X1 Producer Edition and added 1st the  SONAR X1c update then 2nd the SONAR X1d update as instructed by Cakewalk.

1st I got a bad REG number for my Dimension (invalid)
I cant get it registered...
2nd I got  ''out of serial numbers'' for my Production Suit upgrade that I can not use now
and finally...................
Sonar X1 crashes at about the same time my Sonar 7 did...After about 30 or so minutes...

Can anyone (PC GENiUS NEEDED) help???

Hi Rom2112 the only advice i can give is first of all, before you install x1 You need to make sure there are no previous versions installed, once you have it installed You need to start the updates from a up to c and so on Cheers Grandwizz.

    This is bad advice.

Many, many users have multiple version of Sonar which happily co-exist on the same system.

Also, you do NOT need to install the a or b patches, just go X1 -> X1c -> Expanded -> X1d
