How to overide/cancel General Midi instrument assignments in X1

Imported GM Midi files override my track assignments to TT-1
Example- I set track 1 TTs to Oboe and on starting playback it defaults to Piano
It used to be in the (right click) track properties dialogue but I can't find the *&^ thing in X1
Thanks,
Fred

Look at the Event List view for each track and look for Program Change messages and delete them.
