What Flash did you get?  I've got three albums from them:  Flash, In The Can & Out Of Our Hands.  They've got one other that I know of that came out much more recently, but I don't have that one.

According to their new keyboard player ( www.rickdaugherty.com ), they're working on a new album. It was supposed to be released earlier this year, but wasn't ready.
Rick is the brother of a jr. and sr. high friend of mine.

That's cool Greg.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

Flash--the one with Small Beginnings and Children Of The Universe.

Yep!  Good stuff.

I never kept album artwork in my iTunes collection but, now that I've converted everything over to MediaMonkey (and so many of the Prog albums have very creative covers!), I'm now trying to get them all added.  I figure at the rate I'm going I might be caught up somewhere around Christmas...

That's one advantage LP's have over digital and CDs.  A friend of mine buys LPs--particularly cheap, used ones--primarily for display.  He has a turntable and listens occasionally, but he's more into the artwork.  In one room, he has 2-3" wide shelves to display them.  He just has to rearrange the LPs when he wants to redecorate.

I think it is Rick's girlfriend, or wife, can't tell you that consistently keeps posting updates on the ProgArchives board on this ... but it's been probably a year and still nothing to show for it, although it appears that they ahve a couple of snippets here and there.

I didn't dislike this band and had the first 2 albums ... but I did not think they were as nice as other things I was listening to at the time.

Given the amount of time that it has taken, I do not think that this is going to happen and that the folks involved are not capable/willing to put something together that is satisfactory for them, and others.

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
