eSoundz AmpliTube $99 offer... a two part question

Got the following today from eSoundz:
"As part of the Summer Strummer Promo, you can get 70% off the leading amp and FX modeling software for Mac/PC ... AmpliTube 3 for just $99 ($349 value!)."

a) Is eSoundz legit?
b) Is eSoundz legit and who has bought that way in the past?

Any advice/warnings/kudos is appreciated.

My experience is that eSoundz is legit+ They are genuinely excited about music and sampling and bend over backwards to make their customers happy. I've bought so much stuff from them that I began avoiding their forum on kvr-audio because I didn't want to get sucked into one more group buy! They seem to have some kind of relationship with IKmultimedia that allows them to occasionally offer their stuff at ridiculous prices. Over time, I've purchased (or gotten nearly free) nearly all of ik's software, sometimes along with exclusive samples only available through eSoundz. Other people's experience my vary, but I give those guys two thumbs way up.

    Very,very tempting...€76.54 here in Europe.

I'm just wondering if you want to record with true no-latency, you would have to get an Amplitude interface as well. Like I'm using the GR mobile i/o for GR and UX2 for Podfarm. That would mean another purchase to make full use of Amplitude.

I'm sure there are some Amplidude users around here with some advice :)
(I hope you don't mind me walking into your post like that, hockeyjx)

esoundz.com is the online retail site of sonicreality.com (Sonic Reality). SR did the bulk (all?) of the original SampleTank content, plus they developed SonikSynth, SampleMoog, SampleTron, as well as a bunch of other add-on ST products... Then they have a bunch of stuff in kontakt, refill, etc. formats... esp. drums... lots and lots of drums... :)

Esoundz is more than legit.  Dave K started this company back in the early 90s... he is a keyboard player and started buying vintage keys when they were considered junk (great prices for stuff from the 70s and 80s)...  you can research his story but he is a fellow GENESIS fan and started sampling these vintage instruments.

He did Oceanway Drums (his best effort to date IMHO). Somehow through his company, he made connections with GENESIS... even went to Genesis private studio (now rentable) to sample a bunch of GENESIS vintage instruments that they had in storage.

Dave K is one of my heroes and at last check, he was working on a couple of real cool projects.

So, yes, legit and at this point, he does a lot of DRUM kit sampling... his latest effort was EPIK drums and he not only got the vintage drum sets but actually enlisted the drummers in the sampling session (Terry Bozio, Billy Cobham, Neil Peart and a host of others).

I don't know anything about DrummerTracks or AmpliGrooves, are the just samples and beats... or is it that PLUS a player?
