Why does every little

thing seem so hard?

I could have worded that different I guess but I'm brain dead.
After working in the yard in humid high temp. and spending
hours getting info off the net...

I couldn't believe that finding task lighting would be so hard.
Hard if you don't want to sell your soul that is.

Just wanted a nice drafting style light and I wore out from
looking -- with no luck.

Discontinued, out of stock, bad reviews...to many hours of
"they don't make them like they use to".

What do I have to do? Learn how to make swing arm drafting lights too?

Sorry...but I feel better for some reason.

Days like this are only there to make the really good days feel even better.

(At least that's what I'm trying to convince myself of. )

I have those days, too.  They seem to occur with greater frequency these days.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?

You should try living life in a wheelchair. Actually... no. Don't try that. It blows.

Mike I like the lamp but not what I'm looking for. Now if I
    had a pool table...and I'd use chain.....motorcycle chain.

Craig you are right on. I really don't complain...it just makes
    me tired.....and complain, a little.

Beepster I had a good friend confined due to a motorcyle crash...
like can be very hard so it's great to have friends that care and
    understand...as much as possible.

I hear you Spacey, I was just trying to get you smiling. :-).

Honestly, I grew up with domestic manufactured drafting lights and they were never all that great... they always seemed to sag.

I bought a Harbor Freight magnifying lamp a few months ago that uses the same swivel and tension arms and it seems to work very well.

Maybe there is some hope you'll find a decent one.

    best,
    mike

I hope your friend's getting along okay. It is a big adjustment. It makes everything take a million times longer and some things are just impossible.

Beepster I haven't seen him in over 25 yrs. -last time I did he was happily married
    and raising kids.

Mike I know you were and you did...I'm a sucker for Harley stuff.
Thanks for the lead. Every one I've looked at has either something
wrong or the wrong light...just got disgusted looking. Try again another
    day.

Have you also lost the ability to talk for yourself?  It really peed me off big time when I was helping my Mum in her wheelchair and people would ask me how she was when she was right there in front of them .  Strength to you Beepster.

@Wookie... My personality is far too strong IRL for anyone to look past it. They can try... but it ain't gonna happen. And thank you. Can always use some extra strength. I hope your mum got better. Either way best to you and yours.

If there is a Dick Blick art store near you look there. They have some nice lights of the type you're looking for. Unfortunatley the good ones aren't cheap.
