Nice song. Very soulful and contemporary. I don't think that I could improve on this mix because I like it the way it is. The reverb on the background vocal is to die for. Good luck in the contest-you may have a winner here.

Actually I can think of an improvment. I'd let the song fully fade out, than chop off the end on you submission. That felt abrupt
