Problem with Izotope Stutter Edit

I purchased Stutter Edit just now through CW special offer.

It is not showing up as a soft synth.

I configured all settings in Plug In Manager, including the properties where I enabled "configure as synth"

Scanned and re-scanned all plug ins.

I must be missing a very simple, yet important step, but cannot discover it.

HELP?

According to the instructions for Sonar on the Izotope site, this should be listed as a VST Audio Effect, not as a synth.

The Stutter Edit/Sonar Help file/Quick Start shows how to set it up in Sonar.

    Howdy Fireberd....
    Thank you for responding.
Something is amiss... I followed the Izotope instructions.
Opened Plug In properties, enabled "config as synth"
Re-scanned after setting up according to Izotope...
It does not appear under "Soft Synth" as stated.
It does appear under "Audio FX"...

It won't work unless it is configured as a soft synth because the plug requires input form a midi source ....you probably already know that, though.

I'm missing something, I'm sure.... just don't see it after going back through all steps and following as illustrated.

    Thanks Again!

you might need to re-scan vst plugins to get it to make the change...

    Just a thought...

    Thanks cclary...

I did rescan... on the phone now with Cakewal tech support. They see the problem there... several folks are working on the problem there. Over in the X! forum, two more users have reported the same problem with their x64 systems... this is at 1522 hrs CSDT. I'll share findings so others can remedy the problem more easily.
