Built in Quiz and Testing feature request for upcoming new version of Sonar

When you first open Sonar a dialog box will appear to ask you if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced user. After 1 hour of using Sonar, a Pop-up will appear that reads, "It's time for your Sonar X1.5 Quiz." To continue using Sonar, you must take and pass the test. If you pass the test, you will not be quizzed again until one week of use has passed. The users who fail the test, have to keep taking the test... before they can continue to use Sonar. Those users can't blame Cakewalk or Sonar for their lack of knowledge regarding the program. This quiz feature will also educate users and test their knowledge as they are using the software.

    skylightron, Having read several of your previous posts (without comment), I have to believe you are being tongue-in-cheek... but not entirely.

    This is your second trolling thread... In the first you admitted trolling with the comment " I like pushing your guys buttons"

    i refer you to the t.o.s.

    Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling
    Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on the Cakewalk forum. Treat other forum members as you would like to be treated. Unproductive trash talk will be met with criticism and possible disciplinary action including banishment. The same rules apply to trolling and/or posting topics specifically to provoke a negative response.

    Your thread titles are presented as fact, not personal opinion or conjecture and so are misleading to a casual observer, and do absolutely nothing for the Sonar community.

    @Mystic38 Do you know a coach like Phil Jackson has to push a lot of buttons? I only said that I like to push your guys buttons to acknowledge Beepster. As for the Trolling... thank you for referencing the t.o.s. but my two threads in question by you and a few others aren't meant to purposely illicit a negative response. This built in quiz idea of mine is just that - an idea that can be a feature or not. If you don't like the feature idea - don't request it. It would be good for beginners and intermediate users who want to learn to use the software faster. And what better way then to have a built in knowledge center?

    Funny, because in your original post you insinuate it could be used to safeguard Cakewalk from stupid people. Imagine if your car did the same? Or your toaster? Or your dog? Maybe your jeans can drop to your feet every hour or two till you prove you know proper washing and care methods.

    If one pays for software they don't have to prove anything to anybody to use it and that's the way it will stay.
    Ever hear of a help file? Tutorials? Webinars? Forums? Instructional videos and DVD's? You need to reinvent the wheel?

    So what happens in your funny little world when you get a quiz question on a feature which you never intend to use thus rendering any "learning" of it completely useless?

    Take Beatscape for example - I've never used it, never intend to, yet if we adopt your scheme, I'm either forced to learn it or Sonar stops working?

    This scheme will not add to Sonar's functionality - all it will do is introduce yet another layer of code with all the inherent risk of bugs, crashes, dropouts & lockups.

    Do us a favour fella, turn your creative juices towards your music.

    Some ideas aren't always good ideas, at least I got some input.

    @Bristol_Jonesy

    This happens when I take a break from my music and use some psychedelic Avid tools. You should know about this in your heyday.

    But yes, yes... Back to the music and not back to school
