Once the media gets it's teeth into something they'll drag up anything to support their agenda. It's all just typically British 'tutt, tutting' if it hadn't been security it would have been the catering, if it hadn't been the catering it would have been the Trains, if it hadn't been the Trains it would have been the Airports....yadaa, yadaa, yadaa. Expect the whining to cover all of the above over the next month or so, along with a few other issues they haven't thought of yet and of course the weather. Team GB would win all the Golds if pessimism was a category, sadly they'd all get injured when they went to collect because the podiums weren't up to spec, suffered from shoddy build quality and therefore all started collapsing. It's not a bug it's a feature of hosting the Games in the UK. Which reminds me the Torch Relay comes past here today, I'd go and watch but the flame will probably go out if I do. Actually when I say 'comes past here' I should say near here as nothing actually comes here except the bubonic plague, french invaders, smugglers and displaced boat people.

Is going downhill on a book and skate an Olympic event? I fancy some medals there if so. I mean we won a Gold at Calgary for the Winter version of that event.

Why spoil a perfectly good story with facts?
Because when 70,000 of us are giving our time for FREE and have to pay our own accomodation costs and everything else involved with living in London for 3 weeks it realy pisses me off when bus drivers and tube drivers threaten to go on strike unless they get a £500 bonus for doing the job they're paid to do anyway. And don't get me started on the whingers and winos whiners that can't help but complain about every aspect of hosting "The Greatest Show on Earth" even though they live 500 miles from London...
