pedal problems with FX sonar 8.5

hello everyone. Can anybody help me with an issue i have. I use sonar 8.5 ,and at the moment when i use some fx vst's to my track or tracks I can't get my pedal on the keyboard to assign itself. The 3 fx's in question are MrDonald,Akai Rotator and VB3 FX. I use #64 as my sustain pedal to use it as a switch for thr rotator,on off toggle. But they don't work. I know the pedal is ok,because when i use it in NI B4 II ,he switch turns on and off there. I tried all the #'s in MRDonald from 0 to 127....nothing. In Akai...i tried the 3 they have 64.66 and 67. In VB3,,i assigned #64 there and nothing. when i use VB3 on it's own ,as a VST ,the pedal works. Seems to me that when i use an effect that requires a pedal assign it won't work. Anybody got any ideas????Tanx/Ray
