USB Mics and Sonar

I'm using Producer 8.5.3 on a laptop at work and have a Novation Nio 2/4 interface, but I'm using an AT2020 USB Mic.  When I insert an audio track, the mic doesn't come up as an input option...just the nio.

Help ?

    You can only have one ASIO interface, You need to load the drivers that came with the mike first, If it did not have drivers you'll have trouble getting it to work with Sonar. Many have tried, many have failed. USB mikes are for pod casting and not really a good idea for audio recording. Best to have a mike with a XLR.

    Windows treats USB mics as another soundcard so you can't use ASIO mode, you have to use WDM or MME mode, which is not optimal.
