Import Audio Issue

When I import a rendered wav. File from fl studio into X1 It sounds airy and a bit distorted during playback...but when I play the same wave in any other program including windows media player it sounds fine.  What could x1 be doing to cause this during import? I don't see any plugins or other buses active that could change the sounds. It's a very light staticy sound on the imported wave beat. thanks.

Was it rendered to the same bit depth/sample rate as your Sonar project?

    We need more information.

Are absolutely 100% sure there are no Fx plugs anywhere between track & main outs? (Including Pro Channel!)
Are all of your faders at or less than 0dB?
Are all track/buss gain settings at or less than 0dB?
Are any of your meters going into the Red?
What level is the track peaking at?

Yea, check your import setting and also check your playback setting in sonar, including the signal chain.
