What?? The tempo map does not slide with measures and markers???

Um . . . what good is it to "select all" and then slide measures/markers backward or forward IF THE TEMPO's DO NOT SLIDE AS WELL!!!???
 
Arrgh. Solutions anyone?

    Yes, that really bites doesn't it. Use "Slide" only in projects that have one tempo marking. One alternate thing to do is highlight everything in the project, select in the time line the part of the project you want to move (probably the 2nd half) and Cut everything - making sure to include everything in the Cut dialogue, including tempo. Go go to where you want that material to start, and paste.- RB

    You can use "insert Time/Measures" and the tempo map will slide also if you select that as an option.  So to move things later in the sequence you "select all" then  Project> "Insert Time/Measures", make sure the "Now" marker is in the right place .   
    To move everything earlier,  find an area of time to cut, "Select All"  then Edit>Cut and make sure the "Tempo Changes" box is checked. You might need some dummy midi or audio data in an area otherwise you will not get the cut option.

    That is how you move everything back and forth in Sonar including the Tempo.  I do this type of editing about 10 times a week scoring to picture while keeping up with new edited versions of the video.

    Jimbo88, i will have to experiment with this. This has beena huge problem, especially when I have ritards.
