Unable to apply audio fx or midi fx

Hi all

First time I have noticed this but in Sonar X1D when I select a bit of midi or audio and then go to - Process \ Apply Effect \ Audio effects or Midi Effects

It is all grayed out no matter what I select

in Sonar 8.5 it works fine so i dont have a clue whats going on.

I hope some one can help

Norrie

Hi Norrie. how are things with you mate?

What I find works, especially for Midi, is to select the notes you want to apply Fx in the prv, then in track view, right click the area you've highlighted and apply your effect that way.

Give it a try -  if it doesn't work, get back to us.

    Hi Bristol !

No so bad thanks how are you keeping ? Drop me a email some time when you are free :)

Thanks for the reply I can get it to work as you say by selecting and right clicking in 8.5 I would usually do it the way I said above and was just curious to know if this was normal for it to work that way in X1

Its not a huge deal though :)

I always use the Event Inspector instead which is incredibly powerful - see Scott Garrigus' revelatory video on it here:
