where do I click?

I was playing around with a project and wanted to open Kontact from it's track. I went looking where i usually look in 8.5 in the track view for the little thingy to click to open the soft synth and it wasn't there.

So, I have to take my eyes off what I'm doing, open the browser, navigate to synths, and then click Kontact??????

Really?

Yes, really! Its a lot easier if you have the multi-dock docked at the bottom and simply hit b. But that might be too hard. If the browser is on set for the synth rack than you might find it darn easy.

You can still insert the synth manually in the FX bin if you find that more to your liking.

I don't have kontakt but if it's like any other softsynth double click on the track header icon of the instrument track.

Thanks Karl. Doesn't work for me though. Doing that just maximizes the track.

Its the small icon next to the name. Not the track icon.

I should add I did not know about this until FBB posted this. Neat!

On the other hand the way it works with the browser in the dock works for me just fine.
