Two Women (Rockabilly)

First of all this song was NOT written from experience.  That's just not me.  The inspriation for this song was from one of those frantic and hilarious British movies called "Not Now Darling" --  which I saw years ago.  I think the movie is somewhere around circa 1973.  I scribbled down the lyrics a long time ago and just to have some fun and create some silliness I put some music to the lyrics more recently.  It is rockabilly style ---- you know, the sounds which were causin' the cats and chicks to be boppin' down at the union hall.  You might note that the fictitious Freddy Jim has borrowed a few of the chops from Messrs. C. Berry and C. Perkins for the lead breaks in this number.
I hope that it gives you a bit of a giggle and any feedback would be aprreciated.
Thanks.

    Rockin' and Rollickin' Freddy.

Very 50's sounding (should be in mono, IMO). I love it.

    Hi, Freddy,

Dynamite job on this fun, bouncy, rockabilly gem!

Great lyrics, cool guitar playing, and excellent vocals sitting in an authentic, vintage sounding, high quality mix.

Well done, Freddy.  It evokes memories from and earlier, innocent time.  The vocal and guitar work are balanced perfectly in the mix, and the drums at the intro caught my attention right away.  You are on a roll.

    All the best,

Thanks Scotty.  I am really glad that you liked it.  "Rock on Chil'ren, I'm with ya."

Thank you Bapu.  Thanks for giving it a listen.  I hadn't thought of doing it in mono, but interesting idea... hmmmmmm.

Hello Bob.  Thanks for the feedback and kind words buddy.  How is you debut album doing?  Still waiting to get my copy.

Thanks for taking time to listen and provide the feedback Lynn.  I had fun being silly and doing this one  --- I guess that helps in doing a wee bit better job.

Thanks for listening and commenting James.  Even when I was young and full of adolescent hormones, I could only handle one at a time.  Luckly I have been fortunate enough to have one good women (that would be my wife) and we are heading toward almost 40 years together.

Ahhh, two women, 1 is trouble enough... Good job on the bass, and the guitars and drums are "classic Fredaaaaay" At your best. I believe this is your style on display at it's highest level.

    This ROCKS!
Great job on this piece. Your vocals and harmonies are tight. Love that rhythm guitar riff.  Mix has a real classic 50's vibe.  Blues, Rock, you have the chops for all but I really dig your Rockabilly stuff.  KUDOS!

Here is another one of those frustrating times when I know I commented on this before and my comment is not here .

But once again, I like the concept and well done.

Robby"Ahhh, two women, 1 is trouble enough... " --  I have been getting in trouble with one woman going on 40 years -- and loving it.  Thanks for the kind words Robby.  I love this style of music and I guess that it is easier to work with something that you really appreciate.

    Thank you BIABDude!!

Thanks for the listen and kind comments Paulo.

Hi Kev.  Thanks a million for taking the time to listen and for the feedback.

Hello Daryl.  Ya, it does seem that at times this forum can get a bit cranky and does not post everything that one might submit.  Thanks for the encouragement.

Hey Frank.  I was slipping even when I was single ;>)   Thanks for listening and taking the time to comment.  I really liked the YouTube performance that Scotty posted but I thought the camera should have focused more on you doing your chops!!!  You sounded great!

Hi Mark.  Thanks buddy!  I appreciate the kind words.  BTW, I love the song that you just posted.

Way fun!!  You are really gettin' that singing thing down.  The whole song was tight and well done.  Gheeesh, I remember trying to handle two or more women as a young rocker and it was good practice for handling just one for the last 28 years.  LOL  Good job, Freddy!!
