sonar 5 cutting recording

Hi, desktop went kaput, I have version 5 on my laptop, when I record an hour talk session it would appear to record the whole thing but when stopped goes back to only 160 measures recorded down from 1400 or something. I saw a popup once saying it can only record so far but dont remember all what it said. can sonar 5 record more than 160 measures? thanks. maybe i need to slow down the tempo? salsa

    No, there is no limitation to the length of the recording in SONAR, AFAIK, but I'm not sure if the Windows 2 gb file size limitation applies in your case (assuming the file is that huge, 160 measures doesn't sound like 2 gigas). I don't remember the details. Someone more clever surely chimes in.

    So there is enough room on your HDD?
