Sonar X1 install and new Rokit 6 monitors plugged in getting no sound.

I just recieved Soar X1 producer software, and new Rokit 6 monitors. I installed the software, hooked up the monitors thru my presonus  44VSL Audio interface and get no signal to the monitors.   Is there a tutorial to walk me through the steps to get the monitors functional?

    Since there are 3 potential places for the signal to fail, I would try:
     
    Listening w/ Headphones to eliminate a monitor issue (or determine that no sound is coming through the interface;)
    Play something through Windows Media Player or itunes to see if your audio interface is getting signal from anywhere else;
    Check preferences in Sonar to make sure you have selected your audio drivers properly.
     
    You could go through those steps in almost any order.

    Check your audio output routing in preferences. Press "P" on the keyboard to bring up the preferences interface.
