It is actually a very sad that politics should interfere with the Olympic ideal.  For me it misses the point.

I don't believe what I read in the papers anymore.

Even my local paper is at it.

I went into town yesterday on the strength of the headline on the front page that read "Huge question mark hangs over local police station!".

I couldn't see it.  So even if it was there and I didn't notice it certainly wasn't huge.

    A complete wasted journey.

    Hi,

Such disrespect ... so the Olympics is not supposed to be about politics, but there are people that have as much respect for God as they do their own poop!

I'm sorry ... if we were the small country folks, this would not be appreciated, but because we think we have the biggest _____ in the world, we feel that we can offend anyone out there ...

If I were in charge of the Olympic venues, that location would have ALL their events cancelled and scheduled somewhere else ... and then let's see someone else cross the line and do this ...

I've been on the other side ... and this is not fun, or appreciated and should not be accepted.

What's worse? ... the girl that tweeted a soft joke got banned from the team and is not going to the Olympics, but a whole city and stadium got to see a major embarassment and they were allowed to do it and no one is accepting blame for it ... and calling it an honest mistake ... like even Wiki wouldn't tell you what the real flag is, or you could not ask the team's representative!

Pathetic ... absolutely disgusting ... I'm only watching Women's Soccer and the rest of the Olympics can get fudged ... ! ... so tired of the lack of respect all around by everyone!

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

I lied about my age once in order I could get into a club featuring dancing girls.

That was a dishonest mistake, a costly one too.

Mitt Romney is over here at the moment, and as soon as he started mentioning all the exact same things we've been berating ourselves about, including this latest error, there's been a diplomatic outcry.

If we are going to put ourselves down then please don't complain when others feel free to join in I say.

Sheesh, the games haven't started yet and no one cares to major on the immense amount of good stuff that has had to happen to get this far.  Mistakes happen at every Olympic event, but we are the clear Gold medallists and world beaters at self-flaggelation.

It was a simple mistake. A simple apology should have been the end of the matter.

GB the whole world is watching, a lot of work has gone into securing the opportunity for us to stage the games so lets maximise it to emphasise what a bunch of complete idiots we are with a few negative sideshow headlines.

    WTG!

I'm having a really hard time choosing a new bass, or a synthesizer ... but I think a synth is gonna win because I will never get a lesson on the bass from Bapu!)
